What I wanna know Wednesday - on a Thursday

This week's answers come from Allis, who's my twin ;)

What is your name?
My name is Allison Smith, but you might see me as AllisSmith, AllisCullen, or just Allis at any given time. ;)

What’s the link to your blog?
I write all the The Vampire Diaries posts! (And occasionally delve into my Twilight addiction here, too)

Why do you blog?
That's a harder question to answer.  I hadn't started out even wanting to.  And, to be honest, I don't have time to keep up with a lot of blogs myself.  A rather famous (or very nearly rather famous) friend of mine tossed my name at a friend of his when he discovered my love of writing and she had a need for a blogger.  The rest, as they say, is history.  Well, that and my total inability to say “no” to a friend.  But, I do enjoy it – when it doesn't take me four hours to do a post on a 45 minute post!!

What’s always in your fridge/cupboard?
Always?  That's easy.  Some sort of soda (usually Mountain Dew) and CHEESE!!  (and JELLY BEANS!!)  I'm trying to lose weight – and I'm doing reasonably well at it – but those are 3 things I just haven't been able to completely quit.  Although, I'm not over-doing either like I used to.

What is the last book you’ve read?
Last book?  Ummm... **  looks on goodreads app  ** OMG.  **blushes** The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice (writing as A.N.Roquelaure) but that's not my usual fare!!  I'm currently reading 5 books:  The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Labryinth by Kat Richardson (#5 in a series), Angel Time by Anne Rice (#1 in a series), Run Fat Bitch Run by Ruth Field, and Nocturnal Witchcraft by Konstantinos (no, it isn't a work of fiction).  How's that for variety!!

If you have a million dollars/pounds/euros, what would you spend it on?
BOOKS!!!  Or I would just invenst it in something so that I'd never have to work another day in my life so I could sit under my favorite tree and write.  (Probably thought you'd get something like “end world hunger” didn't you?  And, while noble and I'd love to say I would do it – it would probably be a lie – but if I made enough money to stop working, I'd definitely give a HUGE chunk to charity.  The Ian Somerhalder Foundation or Habitat for Humanity are dear to my heart.)

What are you proudest of?
This is going to sound so fatalistic, but I'm proudest of the fact that my husband and I have been married for THREE TIMES as long as my parents, twice as long as my brother's first marriage, and three years longer than my sister's first one.  Marriage has a habit of not working in my family and this is a big deal for me.  I don't think it means we're more in love than any of them were (except maybe my parents) but I think we understand that it isn't always going to be easy/rosey and it takes work.  That and I'm not an abusive drunk, and neither is my husband. ;)  Goofy, huh?

Do you have any hidden talents?
Hahaha.  I don't think so!  Although, the second and third toes on my right foot are, essentially webbed, I only have 4 long foot bones, and they're connected a bit like they're webbed.  So, no hidden talents, but I'm part fish!  Or duck!  Or platypus, that could be fun!

Thanks Allis for answering the questions!

Check out all the other WIWKW's here and if you want to join, please let me know!
