You all know how much I love and adore Sarah Wilson and her I quit sugar books.
Recently her book launched in the USA! And she's just released the I quit sugar kids cookbook and here's my review. Read until the end because you can win a digital copy yourself!
I don't have kids myself but the recipes are delicious! The book starts with a chapter on sugar, what kids need to eat per day and how much sugar there is in packaged food.
One of the best advices Sarah gives is to get your kids cooking with you! I know I started cooking from a young age (I used to cook every Saturday, from a special kids cookbook and I loved it), this has made me interested in food and in cooking and I still love it today.
The cookbook has recipes such as sugar free nutella (hell yes!!), but also breakfast ideas and ways to make your child eat more veggies. The recipes have superfun names like "Green slime popsicles" and whilst reading it, even I got hungry. So not to worry if you don't have kids, this book still has yummy recipes. As always, Sarah gives plenty of options, even if you're vegetarian or are allergic to nuts. I love that she gives you options, so you can personalise if necessary.
The recipes in the book are mostly gluten free and they're Paleo and Vegan friendly. How cool is that?
